- Architecting and implementing major projects, including DFS rollout,
- Architecting data backup strategy including DFS replication and integrating Veaam One/Backup Exec.
- Implementing multi-site proxy servers.
- Mitel MiCollab video conferencing/collaboration services.
- Data/Print migrations from 2k3 to 2k12 R2.
- Implementing SCCM/SCOM/SCVMM/Virtualisation rollout including P2V, Hyper-V, Exchange 2k3 to 2013 upgrade/ migration, Domino/ Lotus migration/integration/ data backup/DR , AD/DNS, site to site MPLS.Role providing support to main clients, numbering up to 150 users. This support includes all aspects of WinTel server/desktop support and roll out up to window 7, Server 2008/12, SBS 2011, including Exchange 2003/2007/2010 and Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Services. Multi-site/international links over VPN and MPLS supported.
- Experience supporting Sharepoint in intranet environments.
- Also responsible for managing the delivery of project work.
- Project work to date includes configuration of Juniper, Barracuda and Draytek based routing in data centre environments for multi-site access to hosted UNIX ERP systems, email redundancy/failover. Also implementing centralized backup strategies using Acronis and Backup Exec utilizing NAS/iSCSI technologies including site to site replication.
- Use of virtualization (VMware and ESXi) for virtual machines and as part of disaster recovery.
- Imaging of new and legacy hardware using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and deployment and applications using SCCM.
- Scripted data migration.
- Wintel server estate, Virtualisation rollout, Hyper-V, Exchange 2k3 to 2013 upgrade/ migration, Domino/ Lotus migration/integration/ data backup/DR, SCVMM, AD/DNS.
